We thought it was time to do something to the house . . . AGAIN!

During our time off over the holidays, we decided our back bathroom needed to be made over! It all started because our awesome brother-in-law, who owns a glass shop up North, brought down over Thanksgiving a new mirror for our bathroom! Once we put that up, we couldn't just let that beautiful piece of mirror hang on such and ugly wall so . . . we painted!!! It looks so great now. Here are some before and after pics!Original bathroom picture from when we moved in.

Removal of medicine cabinet/mirror and light fixture that stuck out from the wall about 3 or 4 inches. Let's just say that every time we brushed our teeth we hit our heads! Thanks to our brother-in-law, John, a beautiful new mirror!!! And light fixture too. After . . . add a little white paint to the cabinets with new knobs and green paint to the walls and you have a whole new bathroom!

Christmas!

Christmas this year was pretty relaxed. We were home for the first time since we've been married and it was neat to wake up in our new home for Christmas morning. We hopefully started some new traditions that will be fun to do with our new little one next year! Here are some pictures to enjoy :)

Katie's Dad & Terri came in from AZ a few weekends before Christmas since we weren't going to see them on Christmas. They're getting ready to open their cool present from us :)Katie and her mom getting ready to go deliver cookies to the people who have to be in the hospital on Christmas Eve. (something they've been doing since Katie was 5)Mom and baby (33 weeks).Christmas Eve we went to church with Katie's mom and Darryl. Then we headed off, just the two of us, to look at Christmas lights!Christmas Eve!Christmas morning after stockings had been opened! Now we were waiting for some yummy breakfast to be done!
This is Kail on Christmas morning - she would not put that toy down that she got! John displaying the fun clothes Baby Pidge got from Grammy & Gramps (Katie's mom & Darryl).

5 1/2 Weeks and Counting!

So we had a doctor's appointment today to make sure that the baby was in the "correct" position (head down) and she is! The doctor said that everything looks good and she should be a very average size baby (Katie's happy about that). Here are two pictures from the visit. It was really hard to see her well because she's in such a small space now, so this is all we get :)

Here's the back of her head and a little bit of her face on the left. She's facing toward Katie's spine, so it's hard to see her face.
This is an explanation of the picture below. We're looking at her back as she lays on her side. Her hip/butt is on the left and her ribs are on the right.

Halloween!!

It's a little after the fact, but here are some pictures from Halloween! We decided (along with our neighbors/friends, Christian & Jenn) to do our Halloween celebrating in our front yard, so that we could get to know our neighbors. It was great! We set everything up on our lawn - we had a fun game for the kids to get their candy, smores, music from our next door neighbors house and chairs so everyone could hangout. We met a lot of people we didn't know and got to visit with the one's we did know. All in all a good night.
