We had a “Tangled” birthday party by request of Molly. She had 9 little girls over to watch Tangled while their parents went on a date. It was a blast! Everyone arrived around 4 and picked out their choice of dress up. Then they all got hand crafted (by Katie) Tangled hair, braided with a rose and ribbon hair pretty. Then they did some dancing before we all sat down for Molly’s favorite meal – mac n’ cheese and grapes! After that we snuggled up for the movie, with popcorn and M&M’s of course. About halfway through the movie we paused to have cake. Molly was so shy knowing everyone was singing for her, she felt so special. After cake we all went outside and held hands in a circle and said “happy birthday Molly” and Molly let go 3 gold balloons with LED lights in them (like they do in the movie) it was AWESOME! The girls all loved it and we stood out there and watched them until we couldn’t see them anymore. Then it was in to finish the movie. What a fun time and so wonderful to see Molly enjoy her party. Here are some fun pictures from the night.
Molly being a goof and Reesey all dressed up for her big sister’s party!
Tangled Molly ready for her party (outfit and hair thanks to Grandma Nelle and Granddad Al)
Molly’s reaction to her birthday cake when Daddy brought it out – so happy!
One of our friends, Sarah, made this cake as a gift for Molly. It was beautiful!
Papa and YaYa came out for the party.
This is where one of the girls said “this is the best party EVER!'” I think it was the mac n’ cheese that swayed them ![]()
We made lanterns and put them all around the family room so it would be like we were in the movie.
Molly’s new doll from Aunt Kathy (Terri’s sister). It looked just like her and comes with matching clothes for Molly – she was VERY excited!
