Winter was SOOOOO last week!
So the weekend before last we ended Winter with a bang and this past weekend we started Spring with some fun too! We took Molly to her first Drive-In Movie (I know you're thinking "they don't have drive-ins anymore", but Simi Valley is bringing them back!) A park near our house is showing movies once a month! We went with our neighbors, piled in the cars and enjoyed Partly Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs :) Enjoy the pictures from our adventure and some from Saint Patty's Day too!

Winter Fun!
We decided to finish out Winter strong with a trip to Mammoth with our good friends Ray and Corrie! Corrie's parents have a place in Mammoth and so Ray and Corrie invited us up there for the weekend! It was GORGEOUS!!! I haven't been to the snow a ton, but Johnny grew up in it, so it was nice to see him enjoy those surrounding again.
It was a great time to hang with friends, relax and let's not forget snowboard. Johnny was able to finally dust off his board after 8 YEARS and go out with Ray on the slopes. He picked it right back up :) The only bummer was after his 3rd run his binding cracked in half and he had to be taken on a snowmobile back down to the lodge :( No worries though, he rented a board and finished the day! He had a great time and has been reflecting on his fun ALL week because of the pain!
It was also Molly's first trip to the snow! I think I spent more time getting her in the clothes than actually in the snow, but nevertheless she was in the snow and actually liked it. Here are some pictures from the trip! THANKS RAY, CORRIE & DAKOTA!! (and Claudia and Jeff for letting us stay at their cabin)

The Girls :) I love good friends!
On the Gondola ride. Molly liked looking out at all the trees passing by, but then got a little scared as we continued to get higher and higher.
