Saturday was mostly full of relaxing and BBQing, but Sunday and Monday were full of activities. Sunday, Shaun (he's a pilot) took John gliding! What an experience, gliding over the Rocky Mountains! After that we went into Boulder, CO for some lunch and walking around - fun town, very hippy/Zen. The last stop on Sunday was Chautauqua -a part of the Rockies. Monday was probably one of the most memorable things we have done. We went to the top of Mount Evans - 14,258 ft!!! It has a paved road that goes to the top of the mountain and then you have to hike about 150 ft to the pinnacle. So, we did! It was AMAZING! The hike was pretty easy except the whole lack of air from being 14,000 ft in the air and the fact that it was 44 degrees and we were dressed for 80 :)
It was a great trip and below are a few pics to enjoy.

Getting ready to get towed up!
Coming in for their landing.

All of us in front of Chautauqua!

Sunset from Shaun's balcony!!

Thanks to Baby Pidge we got this pic. Katie had to go to the bathroom and so we pulled over at a bathroom stop and right through the bushes was this picturesque spot - Echo Lake!

Echo Lake (this pic might have be put up in our house!)

Looking down on Echo Lake. What beauty!

Katie and Kelly. Soon we'll be on top of those mountains looking down!
