Well we have seriously been a busy family this summer, but we are so grateful we have the opportunity to do the things we have! The kids are growing and doing GREAT! Reese is standing with assistance which is more than we could’ve imagined a month ago (there’s a video of her for you all to see). Molly is a great big sister, but more than that she’s turning into such a little girl! So tender towards others. We’ve been to the beach quite a bit and both girls just LOVE it! I am TOTALLY exhausted when we’re done, but hey it’s worth it! Molly does not leave the water once we’re there and Reese is content to sit an eat sand all day (yuck)! One of our family things we did one day, was drive to Neptune's Net (a famous Malibu fish restaurant) have fish and chips while looking at the ocean and then go play on the beach. This is a place where I took John 9 years ago, while we were dating because it was in one of his favorite movies “Fast and the Furious” (silly guy). We took a picture across the street from the restaurant with John leaning against his beautiful black corvette with the restaurant in the background! So cute! So while we were there recently we thought we’d take a “after” picture . . . needless to say it wasn’t as glamorous! I made him stand in front of the restaurant with Molly and Reese in the stroller – my how times have changed!! Anyhow, enough talking, enjoy the pictures!
Happiest kid EVER!!
She dressed herself this day for the first time . . . head to toe. She even brushed her teeth and put on lip gloss!!! We are in big trouble!
Reese pulling herself up for the first time by herself! I was sitting across from the table and saw this little face peek up over the table and couldn’t believe it!
Church in the park! She loves her daddy.
She was having a “Jackie O” moment! So precious!
A day in Fillmore – the kids loved it and we were only 15 miles from home! Molly, Ethan, Sara and Kainen on one of the trains.
Feeding the trout at the fish hatchery.
Bree, Reesey and I enjoying the day.
Silly Mol’s!
Neptune's Net – Reesey ate fish and chips too!
Crazies!
This is the “after” picture! I think he traded up – corvette for those two cuties!
Watching the sun set on the ocean – we are blessed!
At the beach with friends!
Ready to do some sand eating!
YAY! Happy Anniversary! Looks like you've had a fun summer. Looking super forward to your Mama coming out here for Turkey day. xo
