Well we’ve been so busy with fun things and just life in general that I haven’t even been able to put up the pictures from our adventures! So this is kind of a big post with LOTS of pictures. We ended our summer in September (gotta love Indian Summers in SoCal!) with our annual trip to the beach house with my mom. It was a great week of relaxing and fun! Right after that we went on our first camping trip as a family with our church. The kids LOVED it!! Molly was born to camp. We celebrated Johnny’s birthday and then it was Halloween – Molly was Cinderella and Reese (at the mercy of her parents) was Gus Gus the mouse!!!
In between all of that we’ve been continuing with weekly therapies for Reese. She has 3 therapies a week consisting of physical, occupational and early intervention (fine motor skills). That keeps me pretty busy! She’s not crawling yet, but our prayer is that she will by Christmas. It’s becoming a bit difficult to carry her around everywhere and frustrating for her that she can’t get to where she wants to go. Also, at the end of this month or beginning of next year, she will have to have eye surgery to correct her Strabismus (the pulling in of the eye). We are nervous about the process, but know that it’s what’s best for her.
Molly is enjoying being 4 going on 16 – yikes!! She is so fun, but wow she’s gonna be tough with all those hormones. She’s doing a bit of preschool with a friend of mine that used to teach kindergarten before she started having kids. She has a daughter the same age as Molly and so they “do school” one day a week for a few hours. Molly LOVES it and is way beyond needing preschool. She’s a smarty! She’s also involved in Awana’s at our church (it’s like girl scouts but for boys and girls and biblically based) and she’s still loving dance class.
John and I are good – tired as you might guess from reading above, but good! Hope this finds everyone well!
There are two post because there were so many pictures! And sorry but the order of them might be scattered ![]()
