Summer Fun & Molly's 5 Months!

We went camping at the beach last weekend with Katie's Dad & Terri in their motorhome! It was a nice get away and it was a lot cooler there than at our house, so that was a plus. Molly touched the sand and dipped her toes in the water for the first time. She wasn't too thrilled given that the water was freezing, so we'll work on her love of the beach in warm water I guess.
Since our last post, Molly is now 5 months old (it goes by fast) and has started eating rice cereal - so funny! She didn't like it at first, but now that she's getting the hang of the spoon thing she seems to be enjoying the food a little more. 4th of July Weekend!

What a great 4th of July weekend we had! We both had Friday off, so we started the weekend by going to visit the newest addition to our "baby girls club" - Lily! Our friends, Tim & Sarah, welcomed Lily on June 25th. She's the 4th baby girl born in the last year in our group of friends! So cute! After that we headed over to Katie's mom & Darryl's for a BBQ, where Molly played in the saucer toy Grammy had. She really like that!
For the 4th, we had a BBQ in our front yard with our neighbors! It was so great to hang out and visit with everyone. After BBQing we headed over to the park nearby for some fireworks. Molly did so good! She just laid there and watched the lights in the sky, not even a flinch. Enjoy these pics from the weekend! Molly and her newest friend, Lily!

So many things happen in 1 month!

Well, it has been a bit since we last blogged and so many fun things have been going on . . . we've been working on Johnny's garage - he drywalled the ceilings and we've painted the walls and floor; Katie's dad & Terri came out to visit; we went to Katie's friend's wedding from her days at Bank of the West - it was on a yacht; we went to visit John's family up North - Molly's first car trip; Katie's cousins Bob & Christy came to meet Molly and visit with us; AND Molly has turned FOUR months, learned to roll over, had her first cold :( learned to jump in her "johnny jumper", gone swimming, sat in her "Bumbo" for the first time, found her feet and has just today found it VERY interesting when Daddy eats his dinner! She's a busy one and we love watching her learn! Here are some pics over the last month!

While we were up North, we got to visit with some of our good friends Ryan & Tracy (and Ryan's parents). It was so good to see them! Molly looks so little in Uncle Ryan's hands :)

3 Months Old!

Well time is flying by and Molly is already 3 months old! So many fun things have been happening . . . Katie celebrated her first Mother's Day, Molly is talking, laughing (just today) and sitting up (with help). We have really been enjoying watching her change!
