Reese is 4 months old!!

Reese is 4 months old! She has grown 3 inches since birth and is really getting strong! We chose this picture for her 4 months shot because it shows how much she has progressed. She is still very "floppy", but has made great progress holding her head up! She is a joy and we are having so much fun with her.

Ending the summer with some fun!

It's been a fun and busy past month! The girls are growing so fast and we are enjoying every minute! We spent a few days with Katie's dad & Terri in San Diego and got to enjoy SeaWorld for the first time with the girls. It was so fun to watch Molly see some animals for the first time! Here are some pictures from our trip.

YaYa bought John a light saber because he's a kid at heart :)

Best picture EVER! We saw this penguin and everyone thought it looked like Reese - it totally does! YaYa bought it for her and we laugh every time we look at it :)

Reese is 3 Months!!!

Reese is 3 months already! She is smiling, finding her hands and feet and learning to lift her head. She has a physical therapist that comes once a week to help her with her low muscle tone. The therapist is amazed at the quick response from Reese! She says that each week she sees a HUGE difference in what she is able to do - we are so thankful! She is still very weak (you have to hold her like a newborn) but she is improving quickly. These are her 3 month pictures that we took, one shows her trying to lift her head during tummy time :)

All smiles :)

Concentrating very hard!

Summer Fun!

We've had a busy few weeks with lots of visitors and loving every minute of it! The girls are doing so well and getting so big. Reese has been able to meet some special people for the first time like her Great Grandma Nelle, Aunt Leslie, Uncle Randy, Aunt Lynne, Uncle Bruce and my best friend Heidi and her family. Papa and YaYa came out for a visit again and we ventured out to the Santa Monica Pier-so fun!!! Molly and Reese in their new tutus from Aunt Heidi!

Beautiful girl!

That's a face :)

Great Grandma Nelle with Reese! We had so much fun having her stay with us.

Molly cried when Grandma Nelle left-she had so much fun with her!

Molly got to play at the arcade and won some tickets that we turned in for a plastic lizard - wow a lizard, really :)

Papa took Molly on the historic carousel that's at the Santa Monica Pier - waiting to get on it and picking their horse.

So cute!

Our 6th Anniversary!!

John and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on Saturday! Last year John had planned a surprise getaway, but we were unable to go because of my step dad passing away, so they gave us a credit. We used it this year! We went to Summerland (Santa Barbara area) and stayed at the Inn on Summerhill - a bed and breakfast. It was amazing - overlooking the ocean! We had such a wonderful time and were so thankful for the relaxation (even though it was short lived :). Here are some pictures from our trip.

Dropped the kids off at my mom's and we're off!

The view from our balcony at our room!

Ready to go to dinner - we asked the front desk if there was any place small and romantic and he told us about this little restaurant called Pene e Vino in Montecito. Authentic Italian food with a great atmosphere - we loved it!

Love :)

The Inn at night - so cute! We sat right out there on the porch earlier in the day during the wine hour.

You have to take a lot of these kind of pictures when it's just the two of you :)

Hangin' in Santa Barbara before we head back home.

We stopped at the Rincon in Ventura on our way home. Pulled over, took a nap in the car and then sat out on the rocks enjoying the view! Then back to reality.
